It covers some of the outer perimeter of the reserve before turning inland and dipping into the valley where you will often seen zebra, bontebok, springbok and even an occasion eland. The trail heads towards a a series of granite outcrops known as the ‘Fingers’ where we will usually stop for lunch, before crossing the sandy plains to Plankiesbaai.
